Seminar series with personal mentoring for the qualification (qualitoring) of development project management for diasporic-migrant organizations and young initiatives.
Long-term planning of projects, realistic objectives, content orientation, concrete implementation steps, fundraising, project management and, last but not least, integration into specifications of German development policy work are often major challenges for many associations.
You have a project idea that you would finally like to realize? You have start-up difficulties, you lack financing possibilities or fail because of the wording of the funding request? The VEN organizes this year a free Qualitoring series for you.

What is the Qualitoring Program?
With qualification and personal mentoring, especially diasporic-migrant organizations and young partnership organizations are supported and accompanied to successfully plan, apply for and implement their development policy projects and offers both in Germany and in the Global South.
From April to December there will be 5 seminars every two month. In the meantime you have 8 weeks to work out your project idea and to apply the acquired knowledge and competences in the implementation of your own project proposal in order to formulate a concrete application.
Between the seminar dates, experienced experts will be available to you as individual mentors for personal consultation appointments.
Each participant has the opportunity to attend two consultations with a mentor, each in tandem with another participant, in order to further develop the proposals. The mentoring appointments are arranged individually and can take place either in person or online.
What to expect.
- Introduction to development policy and project planning for development associations: How can I place my project goals in the national and global context of development cooperation as well as development policy work? What are the SDG's and what are the examples?

- Overview of funding sources for different projects: How and where can I find funding for my project? Overview of funding sources for the different project ideas
